Downloading Files

After successfully logging into access.ambientcg.com you can start downloading files. However, downloading huge volumes of files using the web browser is not recommended, as it tends to be unstable and leads to bad performance. Instead, you can use a number of different tools to help you with downloading. They make downloading easier, faster, and - if you want to - fully automatic.

(Recommended) Official Nextcloud Client	Windows/MacOS/Linux	You want access to all files right in your file browser without commiting to downloading everything at the start. The files are instead downloaded as you go in the background.
Windows Explorer	Windows	You want to download a large part of the collection to your hard drive without installing any additional software.
MacOS Finder	MacOS	You want to download a large part of the collection to your hard drive without installing any additional software.
WinSCP	Windows	You want to download a large part of the collection, but don't want the Nextcloud client software running in the background at all times.
Synology Cloud Sync	Synology NAS	You have a Synology NAS System and want to store the assets there.
Any other WebDAV compatible client	Any	You already have a file browser or backup tool that can interact with file shares using the WebDAV protocol.
